Dirty Always Live Like a Soldier: Dallas' Influence on Hip Hop

Jah Beezy considered it a huge honor to be on this panel. Check for the video footage soon!!!

In 1997, Erykah Badu broke through the ciphers of South Dallas to emerge as a force reflecting the ears of international hip-hop. Since Baduizm, Dallas-based musicians and producers have contributed to the influential sound and worldwide grind of industry kings Snoop Dogg, Jay Z, Kanye West, Diddy, and Timbaland. How does the Dirty South hustle flow through studios across the world? During this discussion the panel explored the bi-coastal validation factor, J Dilla's influence, the North Texas Jazz connection, and how this is changing the game in 2011.
